Summer Employment

The summer employment program connects youth with employers, helps place them in jobs, and provides them with the professional training they need. The employers benefit from growth thanks to their young, motivated employees, and the youth can help support their families and avoid being idle and bored, which can lead to harmful situations. The mentors in the program work with the participants and prepare them for joining the workforce, teach them how to cope with the challenges they’ll encounter in their first jobs, and help them plan their future. The program was established in 2015, and so far, has found jobs for 910 teens at 75 organizations.
